yh, i run mint, and im hooked. just installed a week ago, no driver issues, completely boring, but instalations are best boring cause the other alternative is a problematic installation. i also love the batt. life on it, usually i leave the library when i run out of battery life, but the first time running mint i accidentally stayed until closing time!

To True, I Like Linux As You can choose a distro that suits your needs and and linux is just that little bit better than windows

my laptop barely ever BSODs, but that’s because i barely ever run windows (linux mint/ win deul boot) seriosly though, if u have good drivers and hardware win almost never BSODs, there are many reasons linux kicks windows ass, but BSODing isn’t a big 1. one of the big reasons is performance, (4 times less demanding than vista depending on the distro, half as demanding as xp, and about 2 thirds to half as demanding a OSX).

wdililn, your probably right IMO vista:looks good but runs like a dead slug, win 7:looks good and runs like a living slug, win xp: doesn’t look so good but runs like a hedgehog, Linux:looks great and runs like a very fast hedgehog. but i have to say windows 7 was great and faster than xp for the short while i used it, when it is finished i don’t think it will still be like though.
