Default Dragon Riders and Deus Ex

Ok, i have the game Chronicles of Pern: DragonRiders. Made for Windows 95 (old school huh? lol) Ive installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled it some more, but no matter what i do, when i start it up, it just loads a black screen and crashes, No logos no nothing.
Comp Specs:
Compaq Presario 5410US (Dont laugh)
1.3 GHZ Processor
40 GB hd
256 MB Ram
VooDoo 5 5500 Graphics Card
Running Windows 98SE.
Any idea what would be the matter.
Also im having the same problem with Dues Ex 2

Well, I've got no f***ing idea.

Check your drivers i guess. be sure that everything is the newest, unless its so old that it doesn't work with the newest drivers. Try windoze's setting to run the game as a win95 game, you ahve to do that in the shortcut's properties or something. I dunno, the compatibility thing that windows has never worked for me :-(

well, have phun w/ j00r br0k3ded shingy.

I've never tried this much less have any idea of how it works. But this is supposed to be a DOS program that will allow you to play many old games. This is supposed to be like true DOS. Not to be confused with Windows DOS. Anywho its called "DOSBox" Saying this game you are talking about is even a DOS game heh. Well anyways, its supposed to be a nice program for stuff....so yeah...um...
