Default Awesome new AIM features

Here is one new feature in the latest beta:

"Now you can see and hear your buddies with Live Video IM. All you need is a webcam, microphone, and a broadband connection. Note: Live Video IM requires a PC running Windows XP, webcam, and microphone. Performance is better over a broadband connection or Local Area Network. You may not be able to connect to your buddies if you or they are behind a firewall."

And another, which I think is going to make DeadAIM obsolete:

"Do you have more than one Screen Name? Now you can sign onto AIM once, and have all of your Screen Names appear online. Send and receive IMs from any of your Screen Names. View all of your buddy lists. Make your linked Screen Names appear on or offline with a single click." - meaning cloning programs are no longer needed.

Download the new AIM here:

That first feature won't be very practical for me since I still don't have broadband....and as it seems...won't be able to get anything good here in a while....I do like that last feature. I have lots of names, would be nice to merge them all. I can think of 4 off my head. Very nice feature :D

d00d! it lets you logon twice to the same AIM name, at least it works for the same IP. someone test it out w/ 2 diff IPs. this is cool! you can only see what the other person says back though, not what anyone types to the other guy on another computer unfortunately.

i tested the new beta...it sucks...glitches...illegal operations...hard to type (it de-selects the window when someone IMs you).

it's horrible.

I don't like merging Aim on trillian because it seems to add all my buddies to the other list....I don't always sign on *my* aim names hehe. Kinda sucks when the persons named I was signing on to finds about 100 friends added to there buddy list...hehe
