Default Photoshop outputs...

I can't seem to get photoshop to output my image right... i got this little window thing thats transparent and it won't output as transparent... yes im outputing it as GIF and the only way to get it transparent is useing the dither option but that makes it super bad quality and all dotty... any ideas?

which photoshop do you have?

i use ps7, all you gotta do is select the transparent checkbox

oh yeah you might also have left the background layer (usually white) visible. ...you can either delete that layer OR make it invisible by clicking the "eye" icon on that layer (layers tab)

i mainly use the Save For Web As feature (ctrl+alt+shift+s) so i can optimize it a lot...

I have done what u told me before.. nothing worked... and yes i use ps7 and the glass piece is transparent in photoshop and i am running a transparent back ground so i don't know it's problem...

oh ur using glass?

the glass part wont necessarily come out transparent, it needs some sort of background since it's not gonna make some pixels have partial opacity. also sometimes when i do a glass filter under certain settings it ends up making a rectangle of class that has the text or whatever bulging out of it.
