Default Recover unsaved photoshop image??? Help!!!

HELP!!!

IS THERE ANY WAY TO RECOVER SOMETHING IN PHOTOSHOP THAT WAS NEVER SAVED???

I WAS JUST ABOUT DONE AND THEN I LOST POWER! PLEASE HELP! I SPENT HOURS ON THIS!

No, there isn't...if you worked hours on it, why didn't you save it? Oh well, let it be a lesson to you.

yeah, i went to the adobe forums and they said no already... i was too into it to remember to save... i restarted it, but its not as good... oh well

i think adobe should implement this sort of system, though

autosave is a resource hog and slows ure system to a crawl... microsoft word implements autosave, its prolly useful 1 out of a million times.

Doesnt Microsoft Word have some anti-crash thing? I remember being able to after a crash/power failure, boot up windows, open word, and there was my document with "[Recovered]" in the title bar. Or something like that.

yes thats what autosave is.. basically it continuously saves to a hidden file, which slows ure comp down. so if you dont save ure work, then on ure next bootup, itll recover that hidden file which has been secretly saving ure work
