Hey. This is the 2nd time it's happened to me but last time it went away in about 10 mins. It's been about 2 hrs now and i'm getting pretty scared because i have had this sn since the 1st grade. I'm not about to lose it. take a look. I dunno what to do:

Ah, I remeber now. It happens to lots of people when AOL is messing with different parts of their system, or if your currect version of AIM is out of date.

2 things can fix it.

1. A reboot. (Reboot your computer)

2. Download latest copy of AIM (if reboot doesnt do anything)

Yeah, I used to get that. I have another screen name that has the screen names I talk the most on it. So the times I would get that, I would just switch screen names.

Never seemed to notice any long term damages or anything from it. Not sure what caused it. Maybe you could always try AIM express (on AIMs website) and see if that works, since you are not using your AIM client by doing so.

GRRRRR. I rebooted comp twice and rebooted my cable twice. Still no buddy list. I'll try AIM express. If that doesn't work, and my buddy list is gone, I will be the most pissed person in the world.

dude it doesn't matter. it still uses ur AIM buddy list. plus i've tried to get on on trillian. I've even tried to get it on Gaim. Still nothing.

They are probably updating the servers, your buddy list will still be there.
