I always knew that EDonkey was better than anything out there...but it just never connected for me...I tried EMule and other knock offs...but still no go...but now...Overnet Finally lets me connect to Edonkey's amazingly good servers.

ermm... keep in mind most if not all of these p2p progs (excluding winmx) have spyware and viruses and whatnot... i really dont suggest anyone use any of these progs... kazaa is known to even contain trojans :evil:

i think he meant kazaa light. as for overnet..damn..i didnt think to check.

the spyware? that's why you need kazaalite/dietkazaa and/or Lavasoft Ad-aware installed :wink:

LOL your welcome headnerd.. and no i have not had any spyware issues from overnet.. it's all clean.. I can't get one advertisement from them even if i tried :P and yes i do use kazaa lite

yeah, but eMule doesn't contain spyware or ads. it's also open source.

When using programs that have a tendency to have spyware/ads/other things I dont want. Open source is the way to go. It is a lot easier to detect spyware if its open source, lol. So you dont really need to worry about it then.
