I have comcast high-speed internet. I used to have it (before it was taken away for *cough* *cough* "reasons") and could use peer-to-peer programs (i.e. Kazza Lite, Bearshare, etc.) without a hitch. Now, after I got it back, none of them work. I can get on the Internet fine and all, just can't "log-on"; it just endlessly searches for a connection. I have a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router (model# WRT54G). Someone please help me!

were you able to connect to these filesharing networks before?
do you have an overprotective isp that blocks these for everyone? (perhaps this could be the reason, but i doubt it:) are your ports for these filesharing networks are blocked? were you given some sort of netnanny crap to keep you from using these? |
