How can I make a a same module with the same functions as "Downloads" modules, but with different names as Programs, Games and etc.

Using PHPnuke or how so? You said download module, so I have to assume you are referring to PHPnuke.

Just go into the download admin, and you can add catagories and change the names as you like.

I don't want to make a new categories, Iwant to mak a new download section (module) but with other name.

edit the source files for the nuke downloads module and change 'downloads' to whatever you want to call your module.

Yes I changed the names and link in modules/Downloads/, and

admin/modules/download.php
admin/case/case.download.php
admin/links/links.download.php

but, it didn't work :(

Ideas???

what about in the mysql database?

I make a new tables the same as downloads tables but the name was different (Programs), and I linked it, but when I enter in admin page and click on Programs icon it open a white page :(

i honestly have no idea what exactly you have done so far and what you havnt done, so i cant really tell you what to try. your best bet would be paying someone to do it for you.

just use one downloads module, and make your main categories in it...

then what you can do is create links in your menu to the specific categories. this way is waay easier... especially since the download module supports subcategories and stuff. :wink:
