Hi again...
I was wondering how the site administrator of PCPlayground.com got its own links underneath the blocks on the menu? For example: This site has the block "web hosting" and under it are the links. I noticed that the administrator added tables on the "reseller" link, and that on the "domain hosting" link, there is a form to be sent to the admin. So... 1) How do you add the links under the blocks in the first place (reseller hosting, subdomain, etc...)? Where in the phpnuke admin can this be found? 2) How do you add the tables and the forms to the items/articles/whatever they are? Do you just type HTML into the field? Thanks ahead of time to anyone who helps me out. The php-nuke.org site sucks. That's why I'm asking the board users about this site - because I can understand this site. I can navigate and not be confused... :? Thanks! |

I think Tommy used the PHP-Nuke Tools admin module (http://www.disipal.net/), made a block, and added all the links and categories and stuff.
there's also a thing that generates the PHP-nuke code for a module (from your inputted HTML code), of which he may have made all those extra sections... Try it out. it's a very useful tool. |

Another question....
Being that PHPNuke is all about news, reviews, etc, can I turn off the function that allows visitors to add their own news and reviews? I would very much like to have me and my team be the only ones to update any of the content... thanks again ahead of time! |

by standard doesnt the news have to be reviewed by your team?
anyway all you gotta do is make the submit news module for adminstrators only... log in as administrator to your admin.php page and: Quote:
