Hey tommy..... Can you install NewsPro so i can have people log in and blog on my site? :D pretty please...... (lol that was fruity)

errr why would you need tommy to install it? are you trying to install newspro on your site?

I'm sure he will be nice and try to help install it.. he tryed to help me e107 but it still never worked for some reason... :?

i know how to install. i just don't know the paths to you know the usr/bin/Perl and all the other locations.. Also i don't know if his server has a specific CHMODD that has to be assigned to one of the files. This is why i asked him if he would install. otherwise, i'd have it done already.

e107 requires perl? I never knew that.. and yes you can CHMOD but when in the install it said install complete and was all good but when you go to the index.php all you get is a blank page and thats it

The path to perl is

/usr/bin/perl

The readme should contain the information about chmoding the files.

alright.. this is pissin me off.. i've spent an hr and a half on this damn thing.. when i try going to install the script after uploading and CHMODing all the files, the pcplayground 404 page comes up when i try to access newspro.cgi......... someones gonna hafta help me cuz it's never done this to me before.

ermm well i never tried newspro before, but may i suggest nphp? i use it and so far its really great... if you cant get newspro workin might wanna try nphp

installation is a snap just gotta upload chmod the config file and access the admin panel
