Therer is a .sql file that is located in the sql folder. Upload that to your phpmyadmin folder.

Problem is solved!!! Thankyou so much for your help....I ran the file you told me to upload as an sql query (or something...goodness knows how i managed that!) and now the site is there..

However...I do seem to have another problem now that I can't solve. The first time I entered the admin section I used 'god' password' as the ID and password (as instructed in a tutorial) and the admin menu I was taken to was very minimal (i didnt even have the option to create super user) and none of the links that were there would work. Now it wont even let me log in as admin....did i do something wrong?

well, the problems all seem to be fixed. I just uploaded a couple of the folders again without changing anything and now it all works fine! I guess I must have done something wrong when I first uploaded them.....thanks for all your help.

Now...I'm off to learn how to use this thing :)
