I have just installed phpnuke 6.8 and still get this error.
Code:
Because im creating a community based website i would also like the upload module to work but this keeps failing...because the default directory has no write access......hmmm i wonder how shadowcat got the upload module on his site to work :?: |

What upload module? Or do you mean one of the content modules?
To give directory access, you need to CHMOD the directories to 777, if you have not done that already, that might fix your ob_gzhandler error, if not I would take the error to http://www.nukecops.com forums and see what they can come up with, they were very helpful with my site.. |

E-Xoops is 100% able to be customized... WHAT EVER YOU DO!! DO NOT USE THERE FORUM!!! NO SECURITY AT ALL!! Don't worry.. your able to get phpbb and invision board for it. You can put smilies in everything, pictures, anything! Even your own HTML and plus you know how others say what html is allowed which effects the admin.. well it has to options, what html normal users can use and what html admins can use

sweet.
it's still like phpnuke in the sense that the main site design is used and you can do something like stick the phpbb/invision forums INSIDE the main design (like right where the forum is right now in the site's layout).? |
