Default I reached a problem and im stuck in PHP NUKE Installation

i am reading the idiots guide to php and reached the bit about the database i decided to use method 2

i got stuck on method 1 i done what it says i get this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: message_die() in /home/pcplay/public_html/spid3r/html/db/db.php on line 88
anywa most likley i dont it wrong i am now tring to install phopnuke seems difficult!!

anyway i downloaded nukesql.php i think its the right version i got the first one frm the list and set up config.php im not sure if i dont that right
if anyone wants a download of it to chk if its right PM me also what are the $prefix and $user_prefix or do i leave them alone anyway getting to the point when i click on the phpnuke folder the above message comes for a link look here : http://www.pcplayground.com/spid3r/html

try deleteing all of your files(php nuke related) and reuploading nuke to your root directory (pcplayground.com/spid3r) then get nukesql.php and upload it to pcplayground.com/spid3r. then go to pcplayground.com/spid3r/nukesql.php. it should look like [url=http://nukeresources.com/nukesql.htm:1ned05bf]this[/url:1ned05bf]. click on the "default fresh install option". the databases should be set up for you.

when you say upload it to the root directory do you mean all the files inside the folder html? shall i upload the folder html or just everthing inside it?

the phpnuke index.php file should not be in any folder. also, make sure to keep the file structure the same as in the download you got.

So im not meant to upload the index.php file if not i did upload it. anyway do i have to upload just the html folder in php nuke? or all its contents in it?????? hey

hey tommy one more thing i am reading the idiot gude to installin php nuke and it says upload the html folder by binary mode isnt that just for pics? or can u upload php files by binary

That, I do not know.

I just used the "auto" on the upload type.
