if you want a banner at the top, you could just chop off the title image short (horizontally) and pop the banner in there. or you could slice it if you want it to be in a perfect spot.

change the header source a bit... make the header image a bit shorter in length and add a right, top aligned table to the right of the entire header (put a new table within the table that has the header bg)...

then use either homemade coding (php, perl, what have you) or a premade script for banner rotation... and put the code in the new table...

Sounds right indeed.

Now... know anyone who could do that? :(

By the way, phpnuke has a built in ad managment thing, so the ad script wont be a problem.

MOD Note: I split the topics as this was becoming a dicussion of graphic programs.

I do not think it is possible to add the ad by editing header.php as the ad slot needs to be somehow made inside a .gif

The header.php basically says where the banner goes, what banner, how big, and what text links under it.

Zoid suggested I edit the header.php to fit the ad space, which now that I think of it will be required.

But I was just trying to point out that the GIF (the logo image) has to be edited also.

So... umm... I don't have a clue how to do this. :(

you don't really have to do anything to the image but make it shorter in legnth... cut off some of the excess lines in photoshop or whatever and save it as the new header

then in header.php, add a right aligned table with the code for banner views...
