Their new (not yet released) CD is defiantly better than that re-animation CD they came out with. I will say that there will be about 4 top hits from the CD.

Though, is it just me, or does their CD seem pretty much the same from beginning to end? Even though they do have some variety in it (soft/hard/rap).

Though, its decent. They do have some songs that are pretty much 100% hip hop. :(

Ever since Linkin Park released their 2nd CD I have disliked them. Their 2nd CD was just a "We have a bunch of hits, everyone knows about us, lets rush out a CD so we make more money." kind of release, well in my opinion.

actually the CD just came out today (tuesday), but mm i think its a bit different, i didn't have the first cd, but on this one there is one track that is just music (beats) mm the main guy actually sings and hits some good notes, and he also what you can say as yells (which i'm not really fond of), but over all its a good rock cd to get

Their 1st CD was probably better quality wise. But most people would probably agree that their songs are played out, and are no longer wish to listen to them.

That one track that is hip-hop ish reminds me of one of those MTV popular rap songs by some chick... I dont remember who it is... and I dont watch MTV... but its a pretty popular song around here among the girls (sadly).

I can not stand to listen to that hip-hop-ish song. Its... just... no... lol.

You might enjoy their first CD. Its called Hybrid Theory.

well thats just an opinion, go download the CD if you really want to hear it, and then you can decide for yourself what you think about it; and there are other good songs than just that one single. thats why they make cds not singles, ha

Yes I have listened to the full CD. I do get some enjoyment while listening to their music. Dont get me wrong. They are a decent band. It is just I do not like listening to their hip-hopish style (aka... that one song/their reanimation CD).

i didnt like them on their first cd because i had this big thing against all of the new rapcore/rap-rock bands and shit. but i like them now... ive uhm "backed up" a copy of reanimation...

it does piss me off, though, that they can release the SAME EXACT ALBUM except for a few minor extra choruses and beats and shit, and their fans still buy it... crazy, but im sure if i had a band that could do that, i wouldnt be so upset about it... :roll:

i was a huge fan of linkin park shortly after their release of the first album. but the fact that they released such a STUPID 2nd album was just beyond me and i started hating them. but i heard a few songs on the new album meteora, and its proved to me they still got it.. just hope they dont release anymore sh*t albums like reanimation...
