Is it just me, or does it seem like the quality of the radio stations is going down? First, my favorite station starts playing softer music, then even some rap. So I listen to another station for a while, then they get greedy and go commercial happy. Then my 3rd choice also became commercial happy.

I pretty much have 3 stations that I will listen to (when I cant listen to CDs), and it is sad to hear all 3 of them playing commercials at the same time.

Then the few times they do play music, its way old, and not that good. KROQ is a good example of this. I have pretty much stopped getting CDs for about a year. Yet I have about every single song they play. All the "new" songs they play, came out a year or two ago, but they just havent played them. So anyone who actually supports the artist, and has the CD just listens to the same old stuff. Thats why KROQ drove me mad. I would listen to CDs most of the time. Turn on KROQ "new music" and listen to the same songs that are on the CDs I have that are a few years old. Plus, KROQ stopped playing decent music a few years ago too...

Well..yea, they always seem to go down in quality and fill up with ads and talk shows...XM Radio is the future though..=D Like no ads and stuff

Hmm... good point.

Sometimes I have even resorted to listening to talk shows on the radio. I mean come on, you have all of these guys talking on the music shows anyways. At least the talk shows have intelligent people on them, saying intelligent things, that actually matter.
