*Raises a cool eyebrow*

First of all, mon ami

That movie was genuinely funny

Secondly, just because a bunch of black people are in a comedy, it automatically fits into your above category? Black so I must be funny? Let me give you a few names, mon capitain'

Richard Pryor
Cedric The Entertainer
Chris Rock
Chris Tucker
Sinbad

Oh,,and pretty much all the Kings of Comedy

So, guess the question is...isn't anyone tired of those white ppl who say "Just cause he black and in a movie, it most be catoigorized as I'm black so it must be funny?"

Veyr, veyr few things rouse this Canjun gals anger, mon poulet, but you just managed that. Son't be sayin racist shit like that to my face, ever again.

I agree with Slik, she is right, just because somebody is black doesnt mean they think they are funny. There are alot of funny white commedians, and they dont think that just because they are white they are funny,.

First of all, that was redundant.

Second of all, Sinbad isn't funny.

Thirdly, there are films where the saying "I am Black so I must be funny" do apply. For example, I think How High was a AWFUL film. It held my attention span for about 3 seconds and that's only because that's the legnth of the delay on my channel-changer. In addition, the words "Black" and "funny" in that sentence can be replaced with a lot of other words that try to find a market or pattern in what's selling.

Lastly, Some may find Barbershop funny, some not. Personally, I didn't think Barbershop was as funny as I was told. It's a "wait-for-cable" movie if you ask me...

*Sighs*

AM not sayin everyone of 'em where funny, was giving examples. B: Its still not right to put it in that 'I'm black so I must be funny category'

Now I don't care if you fell to sleep in the goddamned movie theatre, you say...this..movie..was...boring. You don't put it in a racial context of am black so must be funny. Called basic, human, goodness. As for you likjign the barbershoop or not, I don't care, I liekd iut, and thats all that matters, your opinion, my opinion. So they clash? So what?E Everyone ahs the right to give an opinion. If headnerd had just said the movie was borign ,or soemthin like that, I'd have been cool. But I absolutely ,positiuvely hate all manners of rejudie and racism. It smacks of stone age stupidity. Now, if I offended someone who was NOT being racist, but found my words disturbing, or offensive, I apologize. But I don't let anyone walk over me.
