Of those who've watched it, what do you reckon?

I watched it recently and found it decent. Eminem plays a toned down version of his controversial real-life persona and seems to be trying to justify his personal life and opinions.

He does take the opportunity to directly bag his mother; in fact, he seems almost sympathetic at some stages of the movie.

The movie's depiction of the gritty urban landscape of Detroit was well-done, creating an almost grease-and-steel apocalyptic feel to it.

Overall pretty good in my opinion, if you all the controversial elemants and judge it purely as a film.

I have never seen it... but it didn't look aaaaaaaall that good in the previews :?

yeah i saw it... i guess it wasnt a bad movie, but it definately needs some work.. the only good part of the movie was the rhymes :P

i didn't really like the movie at all. it was a waste of money. The thing that was funny was how much money he made off of it in one weekend. 8O

caring about eminem isnt on the top of my list these days...

some of his music is decent... until all the girls at school start listening to it and put pics of him on their binders......
