maybe run a virus scan... thats probably not it, its usually a bug in windows.

Windows XP and 2k have a terrible bug =( Before windows starts it says it cant find a file and then just restarts your computer. You go in safe mode and you get the same thing =(

I got on one of my other computers and did a search for the file that I cant remember atm, that said it was missing. I found a rather large amount of posts dealing with the missing file. Even Microsoft had it on their site. Microsoft's answer was something like, we are aware of this bug but due to the fact that it is not a very common bug, we have decided to wait until other bugs are fixed first. Then their quick suggestion at fixing the problem is to format your computer. I lost several several several gigs of important data =(

That ofcourse was the day I really begin to hate Microsoft. Ok I guess im dumb with my pointless rambling about Microsoft =(
