Default Anyone use a Mac?

Anyone here use a macintosh computer?

I have never owned one, probablly never will.

Last time I even used one was probably in 7th grade or so. Since back then, it was still 100% macintosh computer labs.

Atleast now the computer labs have changed to IBMs now... :)

PC = Personal Computer. You can consider a mac a Personal Computer. People have just given PC the identity of a machine with Windows.

PC's got their name from IBM's Personal computer made in 1981, and macs are similar to the PC, but general design is different.

Hrmm yeah.... about 3% of our users our mac users.... :)

Default Mac vs PC

PC can stand for many things. 3 examples are Politically Correct, Personal Computer or Personal Chronography.

If if this forum is to be held on Apple Mac Users vs:

A: Politically Correct.

My comment will be:

Yeah, well, Apple users (main & Purists) are a small (less than 10% of the Global Market in Personal Computer Users) group of Radically Innovatative Computer users, who choose to do so because of explenations in B & C below, as well as preferances of their own.

B: Personal Computers.

My comment on this as well as A above, will be:

Now, I am sure you've read or heard about the old saying "Once you've driven one you'll never forget nor not covet one". Mac users are essentially Style and Speed fans. Computers are based on the GIGO basis. In this respect a human driver is always required.

Its the same as some people preferring driving a Ferrari (obviously the Creme de la Creme) or some other Italian sports Car for that matter, to a lets say, a Honda (a terrific car I'm sure [I have never learn't how to drive cars and cannot comment for a certain 100%].

The Italian ones are just different and as Cars go, they are, some how, Sleeker and Faster (at the Ferrari level). That's why they win F1 Grand Prixs a lot more consistantly. They are however, at times, if neglected for too long, an absolute "Bitch" of a car to run [Again, so I am told, because I never learnt to drive. It does however apply here because I have had quite a few memorable experiences of my own with Female Dogs in Heat and can attest to the problems that can create.

I could extend this arguement further here but I haven't got that much time.

C: Personal Chronology

My comment on this as well as A & B above, will be:

Some of us computer users still remember

Who was there at the big bang,
What it was and
Where did Billy Gates start his work on Windows (Did you know he banked Apple pay-cheques).

Of course with Whether it was cheating, theiving, fair etc. we have 4 Ws and that is 1 more than WWW permits.
