i cant log-in to ftp it says that there already is the maximun allowed users on, 3.

You can only get 3 simultaneous connections per user. You must have disconnected in some way that the FTP server didn't recognize that you left, then did the same thing a couple of times. It still thinks you're still connected. wait 10 minutes and then come back, see if it works then. so basically try again now.

well that was the first time trying to login in like a month..
and still I get the same thing..

same thing here.. doesnt work and its been over a week that i have basically tried to get in my FTP

The FTP has been shut down for 2 days.

This is because of frequent abuse of the FTP, and I am needing to filter out those users, as it crashed the server too many times. This was occuring while I was out of town and thus was the best action to taken w/o me being able to voice my opinion.

NK2002, are you saying you have not been able to access your FTP at all for over a week?

I haven't used my ftp in months. Tried to ftp tonight. I got the same response about maximum 3 users. I guess that explains it!

I am home, and will be home for a while so I can monitor the FTP more closely now.

Just curious.....What constitutes "ftp abuse"? I don't want to ever do it, so I guess I should find out what it is!

hi tommy, no actually the way i stated that made it look as if i had not been able to get in to my ftp in a week.. what i really meant to say was that i had not logged into my FTP in a week and now when i did .. it didnt work.. alrite that was juss to clear things up! well thanks!
