I like the look of the plan here, and I'm happy to pay the one-time fee, but I'd like to ask if pcplayground can accommodate my needs:

cnfractal is a collective (Yahoo group) of amateur algorithmic composers (computer-generated music). We do occasional projects (a handful per year) that need space for some private, original music (mp3 or wma, <10mb each) and sometimes movies (swf or wmv, <10mb each). The content is viewed once by each participant, of which there's always less than 20. So the storage and traffic is within pcplayground's limits, but are our file types and sizes acceptable?

If I should be emailing this to Tommy/admins, please let me know.

If those are legal files (aka, not others mp3s) then you can host them.

There is no file type/size limitations. Just the content is all that matters (no porn, no warez etc.)
