Default Terms Of Service

i just thought that i would point out a few legal loopholes in the terms of service.

Current Terms of Service[/url:32bmjh4z] apply only to new applicants for web hosting(anyone who has signed up for an account since they were posted). Anyone who signed up before the new TOS was posted is still only regulated by the old TOS. (no porn, now warez and no mp3s see here[/url:32bmjh4z]). The old TOS had no update clause meaning that updates only apply to new users, not the ones already signed up. The new TOS doesnt have an update clause either. Meaning that any future changes will not apply to users that had previously signed up. Also, there is no requirement to comply with the TOS. You can sign up with out viewing it or agreeing with it, and there is no requirement to accept it. Meaning that even new users do not have to follow the new TOS.

I just thought id let ya know about some of the loop holes there. You might want to fix some of those, Tommy.

that still doesnt really solve your issue. i have lifetime free webhosting. with the old tos. so you cant cancel me or prevent me from using the site/hosting service. but i do not have to accept the new tos to continue. that is the big thing.

And why cant I cancel you? lol.

There was no old TOS.

What you are saying makes it seem like you are required to put a TOS on everything you do.

I can cancel your membership to this site easily (not regarding the web hosting). As can any owner cancel their members easily. There is no legal binding.

You did not agree to anything, and I did not agree to anything. It is pretty much open grounds.

*Waits for every site to turn into a warez, mp3, and kiddie porn site after they read they didn't agree to anything*

Well, in every email I sent them I said "No Warez, No Porn, No MP3s" So I gave them fair warning before I deleted their sites lol.

Never... ever... try to convince me that you made Microsoft Windows 2000.... ....lol.... long story...

Well, it is easy to see someone going "I made those mp3s" "Those mp3s are from my band" Something like that.

Well, pretty much this guy tried to do that to a windows 2000 "backup"

Saying how he just wanted it backed up, because he spent SSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO long programming it.
