Do you guys know how i can make a restricted folder using cgi. I want to give acess to only a selected number of people to download the html page.

i am new at this, Could you please specify what you mean by .htacess. is there PHP codes avilible on webs sites that i can use.

.htaccess is a hidden security file on servers... you can change it to hide the folder...


there are also a bunch of php scripts out there that have login/logout things for pages... im gonna write one soon, but there is one at uhm... i think http://www.oxyscripts.com

and there is always javascript too...
