anyone know any good free sound hosting sites?

i wanna share some music with my friends to inspire them that not all metal is about death lol

*sound* hosting? i dont think anyone will really enjoy running a music hosting service cuz they would be bitched at by all the major groups cuz ppl can share copyrighted music.

but if its not copyrighted just use any ol' webhost.

Set up your own little server for private use, thats what most ppl do, or get a webhost that doesnt care about mp3s.

I agree with Zoid, make your own private server if you have the bandwidth to do so.

Well they are both pretty easy to set up. FTPing just allows them access to a directory where they can download the files in them and HTTP could be a fancy webpage to download crap or you can just make it list an index of the files in a directory. I myself would probably go the FTP route since i'm not trying to make a pretty webpage to impress anyone with.
