hey this is rick, i bought a dell latitute online for 150 bucks. everything works except,can't log into the o/s correctly. system is asking for the cmos password. called dell and they requested some more info: so i registered under a phony name, then made the registration owner transfer to my name. but until them, i can't use my laptop. i tried the password: phoenix, PHOENIX,CMOS,cmos, bios, BIOS. NONE OF THEM WORK.
according to a tip, only dell has the cmos master password to crack, and change it later. i tried to remove the cmos password, for 5-2 hrs no luck. tried installing a new cmos battery same cenario. i need help from the best.
