i have an hp motherboard i just purchased for a couple of my spare cpu's laying around its a dual slot 1 mb but im unsure as to what system it came out of in order to get specific information about the motherboard such as ram capabilities maximum cpu speeds wiring information and so on any one know how i can identify this board be4 i connect it all up and boot it for the first time ?

have you tried looking for writing on the mobo and then googling any names/text on it?
