it depends how far these a-holes are willing to go to track you down... its possible, but the more times you hide your IP, the harder it is for them to track you

i wonder how hard they search. cuz i think the riaa just finds ur username and ip or something and asks the isp to fork over the info. if they give the ip for a proxy what would they do...

my best guess is that at this point, they prolly go for the more vulnerable users first, then if they continue their relentless geek-hunt program, then they might go after the people wit proxies and firewalls and whatnot :P

yeah, i guess ur right. there are plenty of people who use kazaa without any security.

Ya, i got a router with a NAT firewall in it.. and this router was suppost to be "easy" to configure.. this is the most fussiest router... it wants NAT fully operational =/ and if anyone try's to track my public ip the firewall cuts off my internet :roll:

thats why im staying the heck away from kazaa and other well known p2p for now.... sticking to good ol' torrents :D
