I have a canon powershot a70. sadly i had to use the warranty (stopped taking pics unless you smacked it hard while pressing down the button), but the warranty service is great. happened fast and works now like a charm. i still shudder to think some fat greasy lady did all the repair job, since that's the image that always comes to my mind.

oh yeah, btw the problem didn't occur with the a60 i had for a while before passing it on. don't ask why i had them both.

PS. if she can handle a crappy digicam, get a hacked dakotacam.
