I agree, Dreamweaver is awesome for Design, that's the only thing I use for Design, well that combined with Adobe Photoshop for graphics. But for basic stuff I still use a text-editor.
Now for programming, I do not like Dreamweaver, so I am sad that they got rid of ColdFusion Studio for MX. Oh, well, I just use my favorite text editor for all programming now. TextPad! You can get that at http://www.textpad.com
