even after rinsing the balloons (at least some of em) still retain the dust...
ok, making food is always going to be sloppy or something will go somewhat wrong... so here's the basic recipe for cinnamon toast thingies, oh i mean French Toast...
The Guy's guide to cooking food, French Toast!
ok, heres the slop that i do:
you need:
- sliced bread (the kind that comes in a bag that you can buy at the store)
- some eggs... probably just one or two, i dunno depends how much you want
- some cinnamon
- maple syrup for when youre eatin!
- a bowl
- a spatula
- a pan for cookin dem things
- spoon of some sort, well maybe a fork is better for mixing eggs in the bowl
- your stovetop/range as a heat source to put your pan on
uhh, here it goes
1. Crack the eggs open into that there bowl
(dont get any shells inside the bowl. if you get shells in there, remove em with the spoon/fork/whatever. throw away the shells)
2. Beat those eggs with the fork until its mostly a solid color, you'll still have some of the egg whites (the clear stuff) floatin round there probably, just ignore that.
3. Add some cinnamon while you beat them eggs, but not too much!
4. Turn on your stove and put your pan on the flame, probably put it on medium or a little lower, just be sure it isnt so hot that it burns the french toast.
5. take a slice of bread, drop it in the bowl full of the eggs, hell maybe squirt some maple syrup in there if youre a guy who wants to experiment. Don't let it soak for very long, just let it cover it up (10 seconds or so seems right), and be sure to get both sides of the slice of bread.
6. take that bread and slop it on the hot pan. let it cook, dont let it burn, check on the bottom by taking your spatula and peering under the bottom of the slice of bread. when it looks about right, flip it over. you can probably tell when its right. be sure its cooked. it shouldnt burn, so if its burning and its still not cooked completely through, youve soaked the slice of bread for way too long.
take it off, put it on a plate... repeat steps 5 and 6 until youre out of ingredients. don't forget to clean up the one hell of a mess you made cooking!
Until next time! this is how to survive in the kitchen-- with zoid!
:P
